there is no parking at this hotel! We arrived and found that what was recommended to us had no parking facilities, just 10% discount on a 30 euro parking-garage fee--good for only one of the garages, likely the most expensive one--plus almost 30 euro one-way boat fare for the four of us and walking at least 10 minutes in the broiling heat with luggage trying to find the hotel (luckily we did have a map with us, others arriving for the first time might not & finding the tiny back alley where this hotel is located without one is impossible). I can't blame the hotel, although they obviously profit from having their hotel listed as having parking, and they know it. The hotel staff was courteous, but unsympathetic. Breakfast was pretty good. The air conditioning did work, which was a blessing.

Most of the staff were extremely unpleasant. We were on the 4th floor, where you had to take an elevator up to the second floor, walk thru the building to another one, walk down the stairs to the first floor of the second bldg, then take the elevator up to 4. The room was dark, tho great bathroom and very clean. Not enough bright light for reading.
