Old world charm

Beautiful old building that has been renovated to take advantage of it's historical past. Great location, walk to all the attractions, fantastic restaurants nearby. All staff except for one receptionist were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. Especially the lady with short hair. We loved the place and would definitely stay there again.

We found this hotel central, the facilities were adequate, but the Hotel looked tired,however the staff were most helpful, the air con.was totally inadequate, the bathroom could have been cleaner, the shower was in an odd position!!!!(room 230) Breakfast was good, and nice coffee from a machine. Very good eating place opposite the front door for evening meals.

Exceptional in every way!

This hotel was a great surprise! Not only is it exceptionally lovely, steeped in history, with very helpful staff, but it is incredible value for money. The four of us would not think of going elsewhere when we return to Florence.

I simply love this hotel! The hotel is conveniently located, about 10 minutes away from the train station. It is also rather centrally located, so enabling one to visit the various tourist attractions by foot. As the hotel was a renovated Palazzo, glimpses from that period of time could still be seen, from the decorations in the rooms, to the drawings on the ceiling of the breakfast room. As our room had a high ceiling, it actually made the room seem even bigger. Even without the high ceiling, the room itself was already rather spacious. All the receptionists were very friendly, always offering a smile to all hotel guests. It is a really value-for-money hotel and I strongly recommend it to all.

the room was pleasant and the view was breathtaking. the shower was in the bath which looked old and greyish in colour although it was clean. Apart of that the room was lovely. all the staff were friendly and efficent.
