Overall, the service and the location of this hotel is excellent! The room is clean and the view of the room (on floor 32) is good! The staff in the exception desk is helpful in terms of transportation and tourist scene inquiry. It is also convenient to reach other main tourist scenes in Berlin from this hotel.
However, the size of the room is too small. For example, if the chair is barely pulled from the desk, it would have touched the bed already. There would not be enough space to put luggage if there are three pieces or more. Another shortcoming is the meal. The breakfast is supposed to be included in the room fare as those hotel rooms I have stayed in the other European cities. There is also charge for Internet access, which should be free to the guests staying in the hotel.

Pleasent stay

We arrived at the hotel at 7 pm. We asked for if possible a room on the 33rd or 34th floor so that we could enjoy the view over Berlin, and a no smoking one. The staff was very kind and very helpful. We were told that the hotel was a no smoking one, and we got a room on the 33rd floor with a wonderful view over Berlin and the 365 m Fernseeturm. The breakfast was excellent with all sorts of food, coffee, the, juice etc.. We enjoyed our breakfast hour very much. Park Inn Alexanderplatz is centrally located as seen from our point of view. The Berlin Opera Unter den Linden, the Berlin Cathedral and the Museum Island were all near by. Our room had Internet hot spot and safe. We would have appreciated access to CNN or BBC World on the tv.
Our room was good, the staff very helpful and kind, breakfast excellent and location good. We would highly recommend Park Inn Alexanderplatz.

The staff was friendly upon our arrival and throughout our stay. We had several questions during our stay and they always responded quickly. We had three grandsons with us and they were very impressed with the hotel. I even left a folder behind in a drawer in the room and when we called from Passau Germany they said it was in Lost and Found and mailed it to us that same day. Thank you very much for such a good visit. Diane Seifert

As someone who doesnt seem to have the "shopping gene", hotels in retail meccas are wasted on me. Park Inn was recommended by a buddy who is not far from the hotels location. It turned out however that the hotel was in the perfect spot for me, and the staff was quite a life saver! The hotel is very conveniently located to so many sights and is right near U bahn lines that easily get you to anyplace in the city. The train from the airport is steps from the hotel, and if you arrive before midnight, the back entrance is open too!!!

My arrival in Berlin was very late, due to the flight times available from Athens. Using HolidayCity, I had reserved my room, but I never read through the entire email and therefore hadnt confirmed my reservation. When I arrived at the Alexanderplatz station Park Inn was shining like a beacon in the rainy night. I arrived at the desk and the friendly gentlemen got a puzzled look on his face and told me that I indeed didnt have a reservation. At nearly 130am, I was flabbergasted and devestated. This was my first travel drama throughout my trip. I dont know if it was the Evening supervisor, or who, but a woman came over to help him, and I guess my weariness and honesty came through, and all though fully booked, she was able to find a room for me.

I was so grateful for their help, and so pleasantly suprised when I got to my room, which had a commanding view over the Radio tower and other landmarks. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty, and saved a weary traveller much aggravation. Though very modern in decor, the Park Inn has a very warm personal touch with the staff. Having been in the hospitality and service business for many years, I appreciate the personal touch and in my mnd that always makes a difference.
