Overview
Built in 1975, the 3 Star Hotel Pathos Gijon in the very center of the city was completely refurbished in 2000 to update the hotel's facilities and fittings. The hotel is designed to make guests feel as comfortable as in their own home. The hotel belongs to the CELUISMA, S.A. hotel chain, and has a staff of 16 who are at guests service to ensure their full satisfaction.
The hotel is decorated in an original way, based in several xxth century celebrities, part of our collective memory. Paintings and illustration of xxth century are shown in the hotel's walls. The hotel is close to Sanit Lorenzo Beach, Poniente Beach, the port, the railway station, Nautical Gardens and the town hall. The hotel currently has 56 rooms, and can accommodate 91 guests. The rooms are distributed as follows: 19 singles and 37 doubles. 3 of these have a sitting room, and all are equipped with everything necessary for guests comfort. On entering the rooms, guests receive a small gift; a book with the biographies of some of the most important figures of the 20th century. As a coastal city, Gijon provides countless possibilities for lovers of water sports.

Hotel Pathos was a small, but nice hotell located in the centre of Gijon. Our room was quite small, but clean and all right for our purpose. The staff was very kind. We were however not satisfied with the breakfast meny, and the smoking in the cafete...
