Overview
Built in 1904 by the architect Enric Sagnier, Petit Palace Museum occupies the Casa Garriga Nogues building which symbolizes its art nuveau style. Since July of 2007, this historic building will be the last generation of conversions making this hotel among the best in Barcelona. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, next to the Gran Via de las Cortes Catalanas and Paseo de Gracia.
Petit Palace Museum provides a 20 inch Flat TV TFT with remote control in each room. Channels include Canal Plus+, movies, sports events and Satellite TV. Also found in all the rooms are individually controlled air conditioning and heating, a revolutionary Hydro-massage cabin, laptops with high speed Internet connection (LMDS-2Mb) (in High Tech Rooms), data connection (RJ45) high speed Internet access (LMDS-2Mb) and an RDSI for Internet access via modem.
Furthermore, there is a direct telephone, a safe with room for a laptop and a minibar in every room. Upon request, the hotel may offer medical services, parking which is available next to the hotel and laundry and ironing services. In addition, the hotel is equipped with the latest technical innovations such as laptops, flat screen TVs, hydro-showers, access to the Internet and wireless throughout the premises.
Petit Palace Museum provides breakfast-buffet style, a restaurant, a snack-bar/cafe, a business centre as well as multi-use rooms for events and meetings. The business centre can be found in the lobby of the hotel which has high speed Internet access (Connection LMDS-2Mb), high tech computers with TFT 17 inch flat screen, printer, photocopier, fax services and wireless system (Wi-Fi System) through out the building.
