The Pierre Loti Hotel Istanbul is located on Divan Yolu street within walking distance of such historical and major city sights as St. Sophia (Aya Sophia/Hagia Sophia), The Blue (Sultanahmet) Mosque, The Cistern Basilica (Yerebatan Cistern), Topkapi Palace, The Grand Bazaar (Kapalicarsi) and (Spice bazaar) Misir Carsisi. Once described as the Way of Kings, Divan Yolu is an ancient road used by empirical leaders as a route into the Old City and its palaces, divides the historical peninsula down the middle and leads guests directly from the hotel into the heart of Sultanahmet. Istanbul is easily accessible by air and is served by a number of major airlines through Istanbul Ataturk International Airport which is a 20 minute journey (18 kilometres/12 miles) from the hotel. Taxis are readily available at the airport just outside arrivals. Also, the hotel offers a private return transfer service.

Drection From Ataturk International Airport to the hotel

Leaving the airport, turn right at the first intersection, and follow signs to Sirkeci/Sahilyolu. You will come to a roundabout with a big fountain in the middle; turn left and follow the signs to Sirkeci. Drive straight along the seaside road for approximately 17 kilometres ( 11 miles ); turn left at the first sign for Sultanahmet. Go under the small iron railway bridge, then take the first left. Continue for 400 metres and take the fifth turn on the right (at Kumkapi Police Station). Continue for 500 metres and Pierre Loti Hotel Istanbul is on the right (opposite Eminonu Town Hall).
