The Viva Hotel Pitti Palace Florence is a historical Italian Palazzo, which has recently been renovated to a very high standard. The hotel is contained within the walls of the "Torre dei Rossi" (Rossi Tower), which dates back to 1200. All rooms are in very good condition, with yellow walls and light colored bedspreads. The windows are large, inviting in the special atmosphere of the Oltrarno (Florence's Left Bank). The rooms are clean and well-kept. This is an excellent hotel with a superb location. It is worth visiting the Sala Rosa or 'Pink room' to admire the immaculately preserved Renaissance architecture.
