Overview
The Hotel Posta Reggio Emilia is located in the "Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo", a medieval building that has been a hotel for over five centuries. In 1200, it was the residence of the people's Captain and in 1400 home of Sigismondo d'Este; it became an inn called "Red Hat Inn" in 1515. Eight centuries of history that made it one of the most important sights in town. 25 standard rooms, 8 junior suites, 3 superior rooms, 1 honeymoon suite with an evocative canopy bed and 1 large rooftop suite with private terrace. All the 38 rooms are in different styles where history and atmosphere blend together. The same feeling is to be found in the common spaces and in the floral style lounge. A large frescoed conference room with an independent entrance containing up to 100 people, a few smaller meeting rooms for private sessions with all modern audio-visual equipment, air conditioning, telephone, Wi-Fi internet connection. |
