The window looked out onto a concrete skylight & up to a drain at groundlevel. The room was very dark as it was in the basement. This was a little disappointing as we were expecting a view. The beds in the 'comfortable double' were twin beds and not a double. The shower was set so high up the wall that it was impossible to use without spraying water everywhere and flooding the bathroom.The room was clean but it was not what we expected for the price.
