It is situated in an area where there are no bars or restaurants so I ended up going to bed without having eaten. A mini bar would have been something but there wasn't even that.

The reception felt more like a half-finished office. The lounge area was locked and out of bounds for guests. The breakfast area was like a school canteen. At reception there was only one person, who was unable to cope with the payment of bills, distribution of keys etc. All in all, the hotel was extremely shoddy and did not deserve its star rating. Its only attraction was its relatively close proximity to the city centre. Many other guests at the hotel were also surprised by the very poor standard. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. The room was extremely spartan, with very poor furnishings and facilities. It felt very bare and unwelcoming. The furniture was shoddy and the room was in need of redecoration. Basics such as a remote control for the TV were not available. The shower barely worked and the view from the bedroom window was the back of another building, leading to a lack of natural light.

A minimbar in the room would be helpful, as you can get thirsty in the night. Also tea/Coffee making facilities.
