Central Location, very close to City Centre and St James Park. Metro Line is usefull. Staff were courteous however could not provide us with an early check in that we had requested. As this was due to full capacity the night before we understood. Only had breakfast in the restaurant, was nice food however quite expensive for breakfast compared to local prices. Rooms were comfortable. Some disturbance outside the hotel once pubs have closed however staff were apologetic for this being out of their control
this hotel is in a good position,BUTif they had double glazing it would cut the night noise from the street, not every one wants to be awake until 3 in the morning.the food was good and hot, breakfast there was a good selection.

Nice stay
Very pleasant staff in this hotel, perfectly located in the heart of the city. The breakfast was excellent and took place on the 6th floor in a large room with great windows through which you can enjoy an outstanding view on the city.
Ideal location in city centre, a short walk from the train station and the Quayside.
hotel middle of newcastle
Very convenient location. Staff were very helpful and room was quite nice, and access to the rooms is through the lobby which makes you feel more secure if you're a lone female. The hotel is fine, medium quality, it's a bit like a Brittannia hotel, very good for business travel, quite quiet and central. I got a room high up and would recommend that. There were a number of lad-groups on the friday for the weekend so I would imagine it might get a bit rowdy at weekend. The restaurant is very nice, on the top floor, very quiet and surprisingly good food. I couldn't find a nice place to eat that was quiet in Newcastle for lunch, and had lunch there, a nice salad, which was lovely looking over the city. At the moment the promotional deal is very good value indeed.
First visit to Newcastle
The hotel was in a perfect location for the train station,Metro Arena and the football. The staff were helpful and our room was a good size for 3. We hope to go back later in the year.
