The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent as well as the meals. For the price we paid it was excellent value for money.

The pool,sauna area would be more inviting if the grouting was either cleaned up or renewed as looking pretty grotty. The hotel was central enough for eating out and very convienient for Alton Towers. The staff were extremely helpful and fulfilled our request for adjoining rooms for the teenagers in our party. We were very happy with tariff for our stay, which was very reasonable and included an excellent hot buffet breakfast with plenty of choice of cereals and extra's. The onsite parking with security gate was a bonus. Energy tip:The rooms were too warm and the windows unsecure/broken catches so we were uncomfortably warm.

Staff were all friendly and helpful, room was really clean and comfy. The Hotel is situated on Trinity Street which is were all of Hanley's nightlife can be found, but don't worry you can't hear all the noise from the Hotel! 'The Fat Cat' - which is directly opposite - does decent food at a reasonable price, and there's plenty of fast food outlets near by if thats more your cup of tea. The Hotel also does deals on Alton Towers tickets & hotel stay so is certainly to be recommended for families. There is also a Spa which is free to use for hotel residents, although I don't want to recommend it too much as even though the hotel was busy the spa was nice and quiet!
