The subway station is about 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. It is, however, helpful to know that the subway system in Berlin does not run 24/7. The only way to reach this rather distant hotel (both from the city as well as at least 2-3 miles from the airport) after hours is then by taxi. This means the money you safe by being a little more remote you will spend on transportation. The hotel is otherwise really excellent, you just have to be aware of transportation issues!

Took us several hours to return the rental car. Asked to order us a mini van cab to take us to the train station and got a car. Ending up sitting on our luggage.
