Location

The Hotel Quindos Leon has a privileged location at Leon's city, due to its easy access by highway and its proximity to the train and bus stations. Its location in downtown, next to the Leon & Castilla's administrative office, the Congress Palace, the new auditorium, the contemporary Art Museum, the sports area for leisure and rest, and certainly being inside of the city's monumental and commercial circuit allows the hotel guests to go easier by foot to any interesting place in the city.

Places of Interest

Hostal De San Marcos
Two minutes far from Hotel Quindos Leon we can enjoy the view of this XVI century's building. The architectonic richness of its interior and the impressive frontage with uncountable medallions shows gothic transitions and renascent influences.

Leon Cathedral
This wonderful architectonic beauty of XII and XIV centuries in the city's proud and it's known as "Leonine Pulchra". The gothic stile predominate also in the main portico, followed by two towers that gives access to 3 naves of more than 1800m2 of polychrome vitals that filter the exterior light.

San Isidoro Collegiate Church
This romantic stile collegiate church preserves in Leon King's Pantheon a collection of wall paintings that represents scenes of the New Testament. The museum exposes other pieces of great value, related to this period.

Los Guzmanes Palace
In 1963 this palace was declared historical monuments and today the Provincial Deputation of Leon takes place in this building. It's a trapezoidal shaped building, with four towers in each angle and a courtyard surrounded by columns.

Casa Botines
The construction of this building began in 1891, ordered by the textile Leon traders to the architect Antonio Gaudi. The result is a beautiful house, faced to four streets and with towers built in each corner.
