On our arrival at the hotel, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming, giving us useful information about the local area. They spoke really good english and were very helpful.
we were visiting barcelona primarily for an opportunity to see
... campe nou (fc barcelona) and we could see the stadium from our street front room. Having said that the metro station was a short walk away and we were able to get to central barcelona very quickly.
our rooms were on a room only basis and with two children (12+10) it was cheaper to have breakfast in a local bar a short distance down the street. We also ate out in the city for lunch and dinner.
we had two rooms which were spacious with a sitting area. One room overlooked the street but the hotel is in a quiet area so we weren't aware of ant street noise.
we had a busy time in barcelona so we didn't even visit the pool though that had been one of the reasons for choosing this hotel
