Comment on Hotel :
The daytime front desk staff were more concerned with process and systems then they were with customer service. We arrived at the hotel at 10AM after an all night overseas flight and were very tired. We were told that check-in time was 2PM and no effort was made to see if a room might be available earlier and no offer of assistance or advice was made to aid in our comfort. That unhelpful attitude was generally the rule of the day for the daytime front desk staff. The overnight front desk staff were much more helpful. My wife has the habit waking very early and being a smoker she would go down for a cigarette and read in the lobby. they would turn the lights on for her and offer coffee. other staff (restaurant, lounge) were helpful and pleasant. The hotel is centrally located and from that perspective is very convenient. However, it is also in the heart of the club district and one of the gathering spots for taxis after the clubs close. The noise (fighting, etc.) was excessive, particularly for rooms at the front of the hotel and went on nightly till 4 or 5 in the morning.
