Comment on Hotel : The above review is for the HCC - St. Moritz

When we (2 couples) arrived at the Regente, we were told there were no available rooms.......even though we had a reservation confirmation.

However, the staff was most gratious and helpful. They made arrangements for us to stay at a nearby sister hotel....The St. Moritz. Also, a 4 star and possibly even better located. They called in advance so that our request for a quiet room would be honored and so that we would be expected. They sent us over, with our luggage in a cab (pd. for by the hotel) and offered our husbands a cab ride to the hotel after our car was returned. A real plus was that the staff spoke English....as our Spanish is close to nil.

The situation was handled professionally and gratiously. Even though we were not able to stay at the Regente, we would not hesitate to book there again. The St. Moritz was very nice and I would rate all areas excellent. We were charged the same amt. that we were originally quoted for the Regente. Both hotels were very well located! Walking distance from most sights with restaurants nearby.

The only thing we saw missing at the Regente was a doorman/bellboy to assist with luggage. A young woman...part of the reception staff, came out to help. The staff was great!
