The Residencial dos Aliados Porto is located on the Avenida dos Aliados, 20 minutes away from the Airport (by car or bus), nearby Sao Bento railway station and subway station, less than 10 minutes away from Douro river (on foot), where the historic centre, "Ribeira", and the famous Port wine cellars can be found.
From the airport:
If you take a taxi, you should ask for Avenida dos Aliados, and the estimated trip cost is 30,00€.
If you rent a car, the best way to come will be: IC1 (Av AIP), Rotunda da Boavista, Rua Julio Dinis (towards Palácio de Cristal), Rua dos Clerigos until you get to Avenida dos Aliados. There is a private car park near the Residencial dos Aliados Porto.
Coming by Light Railway:
- Violet Line: Pedra Rubras - Estadio do Dragao direction. At the Trindade Station, change to the yellow line "D", D. Joao II - Camara de Gaia direction. The next stop along is Aliados.
Coming by train:
Sao Bento railway station should be your destination. This station is only 5 minute walk from the Residencial dos Aliados Porto.
Coming by bus:
You can take the following buses: 1, 3, 7, 20, 24, 52, 56, 79, 200, 201, 300, 301, 303, 501, 600, 800 and 801, which all get to Avenida dos Aliados.
