We also like it for its friendliness and happy atmosphere without too much fuss. Staff go about their business in a efficient and friendly way. To us it has a homely atmosphere which we like. The Gothic area is beautiful and has a good selection of restaurants to choose from, it is close to walk around to shopping areas and sights etc. The hotel is not the best for easy access with a pram and a small baby, like we have, but the staff was very kind and let us store the pram downstairs at times (for a shorter visit up to our room). The staff was also very helpful with other requirements. The hotel breakfast is optional, which is good for me since I am a vegetarian and hotel breakfasts invariably are based on animalproducts. When we decided to have it at one occasion it was definitely not worth the price of almost 15 euro for me (as I only had toast and coffe). That could be something for all hotels to improve. Breakfast should always be optional and not included. If you are a vegan/vegetarian you should also be offered either a cheaper version or even better a vegetarian option instead of all sausages and bacon. Who wants to pay almost 15 euro for toast and coffe??

The location, the rooms and a breakfast worth the name is just three examples why you shall chose Hotel Rialto.

Lots of small problems with the room, but not even one apology! 1. The key didn't work (wrong coding, got fixed when we told). 2. The toilet chair didn't work (they fixed it, but didn't apologize). 3. Out of hot water the second morning. 4. Electricity went out the second day. 5. The TV was broken - they promised to fix it but didn't!!. Very small bed too.
