This hotel has old world elegance and charm. The room was large, with a shuttered window to the front. The furnishings were modern, but in keeping with a traditional style. A minibar was well stocked. The staff was courteous and helpful with suggestions for dinner and finding an internet cafe in town. The lobby has comfortable chairs to sink into, and no fuss was made over stowing luggage temporarily. A gravelled car parking lot is in front. The surrounding wall gives a private villa feel to the grounds and garden. Although the pool has limited hours, there's an outdoor shower provided and it looks swimmable. The continental breakfast is ample and delicious. A lovely place.

Chosen due to location - near to train station although free parking offered. The hotel seems to be a converted mansion, very professional staff and good facilities. Didn't expect a swimming pool to be available and the breakfast that was included was excellent and way above expectations. A very good base to explore Florence, the main square is about 10 mins easy walk away.

I loved the interior of the hall, It was great. It was very old style and cute, I liked it very much. I had nice bath ,too which was great. I really enjoyed staying there.

The hotel is on a quiet street. However, it is a distance from the main sites. There is quite a walk involved to get into the center of activities. The room was adequate for my son and I. The twin beds were a little close together. Would have preferred more space.

Beautiful grounds and helpful personnel. Within walking distance of the train station and all the tourist sites in Florence. The room was comfortable and clean.

I have stayed in Florence many times before and this is by far the best value hotel in a very relaxing atmosphere. Very spacious for a 3* hotel. A lovely balcony caught the sun in the morning with a lovely view over the gardens.
