Having lived in Switzerland for a few years, we were expecting the professional but 'bland' hospitality typical in the country. Our small surprises started upon arrival when a friendly concierge staff promptly picked our luggage and delivered them to our room upon checking in. The Front desk staff registered us in the same manner and topped it with a room upgrade to a de luxe. The hotel location, complementary bus tickets and overall helpfulness of the staff made our short visit truly pleasant. That our medical visit turned up to be positive as well (albeit thanks to our doctor rather than the holtel) completed a memorable short visit.

IT WAS IN A FABULOUS LOCATION WITH THE BACK-DROP OF THE BAR BEING A LARGE GLASS WINDOW ONTO LAC LEMAN,THIS GAVE A VERY OPEN AL-FRESCO MODE TO THE FOYER. THE ROOMS WERE GREAT,OUR ONE HAD A BALCONY AND LAKE VIEW. WE WERE HERE FOR THE FREDDIE MERCURY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND WE WERE DELIGHTED TO DISCOVER THAT THE SATURDAY AFTERNOON QUESTION TIME AND EXHIBITION OF DIANA MOSELY'S COSTUMES FOR FREDDIE WERE AT OUR HOTEL. I WAS HERE WITH MY DAUGHTER AIMEE ,WE ARE BOTH FROM COUNTY CORK IN SOUTHERN IRELAND OVER ALL I WOULD GIVE THIS HOTEL AND THEIR STAFF A VERY HIGH RATING AND WE HOPE TO STAY HERE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE MOIRA MYERS BIG FREDDIE MERCURY FAN

Friendly, helpful staff. "Room with mountain view" was not an appropriate description as it overlooked an adjacent hotel, the motorway and a couple of hills.

When you consider this was a five star hotel I believe that the lack of these facilities is unacceptable.
