Overview
In Cordoba, the Rusticae Casa de los Azulejos Cordoba is unique for its colonial style. The eight rooms of the Casa de los Azulejos look onto a central patio which is full of light and colours.
Dating from the 17th century, the house still has its original subterranean rooms with vaulted ceilings in the cellar of the hotel. The two main floors were renovated in 1934, giving the house a distinctly Sevillian flavour. The central courtyard, decorated with tiles from the famous Mensaque Tile Factory in Seville and the wrought iron columns and the marble floor which were added at that time have all been left intact.
