The Salthouse Harbour Hotel Ipswich is situated next to the marina on Neptune Quay in the city centre of Ipswich. The hotel overlooks the historic Ipswich waterfront. A few minutes walk is Ipswich town centre and all its shops. It is a wonderful location from which to enjoy Suffolk and is just over an hour from London by train. The hotel is approximately 51 miles away from the Stansted Airport and around 0.5 miles from the Ipswich Train Station. The Central Ipswich is compact and can be explored on foot. Among the places of interest to are the Christchurch Tudor Mansion (around 1 mile), Regent Theatre (around 1 mile), Flatford Mill (around 8.5 miles), Sutton Hoo Archaeological Site (around 15 miles), Felixstowe Beach (around 15 miles) and the Colchester Roman Walls (around 15.5 miles).

Route to Salthouse Harbour Hotel Ipswich :

From London, on the A12 guests will come to a roundabout on the outskirts of Ipswich (will see Toys R Us in front) turn right onto the A14 towards Felixstowe. Take the first turning off the A14 to Ipswich and Wherstead (A137). Head for Ipswich Town Centre. After 1 ½ miles guests will come to a series of roundabouts, continue to head for the town centre. At the traffic lights, get in the outside lane and go straight across and over a river bridge. Stay in the outside lane and go straight at the first roundabout and take the second exit at the next (turn right on the A1022, Star Lane). Stay in the outside lane, a church will be on the right hand side. Continue on and follow the brown and white tourist board signs to the hotel.

From Ipswich Train Station, with the station on the right, proceed along Burrell Road. At the traffic lights go straight ahead onto Bridge Street and over Stoke bridge. There is a church on the right, continue following the signs for the Salthouse Harbour Hotel Ipswich.
