Another notable landmark is the house and birth place of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Salzburg's greatest composer. Mozart's family lived in this house 1747 to 1773, where Mozart was born on 27 January 1756. Now, the house has been turned to a museum in honour to this magnificent composer, displaying lots of his memorabilia and letters.
