 Hotel San Francesco al Monte is housed in an ancient, completely refurbished convent in Naples. The hotel has its origin in the skilful restoration of the sixteenth-century Convent of Santa Lucia al Monte and keeps unaltered its old charm. The awe-inspiring and homely building, adjoined by the church and distinguished by a line of contiguous and numerous small windows, is located at the feet of the green San Martino hill dominating the Gulf of Naples.

All of the rooms in Hotel San Francesco al Monte are equipped with comfort and sufficient facilities for guests to enjoy the whole stay. Besides that, there are accommodation facilities provided by the hotel for the disabled guests upon request. The Hotel San Francesco al Monte's interior retains the flavour of the ancient history of the structure, such as the old oven which keeps alive the memory of the long nights when bread used to be baked continuously to feed the poor who took refuge inside the sacred walls.
