Hotel service was excellent and the staff people were very couteous and helpful. In the morning there was a generous choice for breakfast with a healthy choiceof fruit and cereales. We particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice (self service). The overall ambience in the hotel was very nice. We tried the food. it was mediocre. The location of the hotel is not ideal for seeing the city`s tourist spots on foot. However the bus no. 6 from Macarena to the centre town was very useful.

The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed staying at the San Gil.

Frommer's guide book stated you were near the Santa Cruz barrio when actually it was a 30 minute walk away.
