The hotel staff were friendly and multi-lingual and the service was good. Breakfast was fine, with a good choice. We chose this hotel mainly because it is one of the only ones near the centre of Verona that has a pool. We have stayed there before and would do so again.

They responded quickly and pleasantly to all requests. The breakfast was extraordinarily good. Provision made for most diets. Quality of food and service was wonderful! Good tasteful style. Absolutely pleasurable to be in!

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't use the restaurant for evening meals, but breakfast was good. Used the free coach provided by the hotel to go to the opera on 3 consecutive nights, which was very welcome, but the driver should have been punctual instead of having extended conversations on her mobile phone before setting off and really should have told people the way to the arena when they left the bus!!! (We had been to Verona before, so were OK, but had to help others go in the right direction.) We would be happy to stay there again. The bed was a bit hard, but we slept OK after going to the opera (late nights). The room was pleasant and a good size by European, not American, standards, recently refurbished I think. Appreciated the air-con. Well-equipped, large bathroom, but the frame of the shower screen on top of the bath made it a very high step to get in, which could be difficult for some people. I'm 5 feet 2 inches (157cm) tall (short) and could just manage it.

Therefore there was no swimming pool. It also made it difficult to sit outside We were given a disabled room. We did not ask for this and I was not happy at this
