The room and bathroom was large, clean and comfortable with a seperate toilet and small hallway where the wardrobes were. More of a suite than a room. The faded granduer of the decor throughout the hotel reflected the oppulence of Vienna on a small scale. Staff were helpful and curteous. Suggestion for improvement = make the larger lounge area the dining room, which was too cramped. The dining room could become a small lounge as the existing one seemed not much used. The English always look for a kettle in the room for that occasional cup of tea, and possibly an iron! A good location for walking to the sites of interest we left with an overall good feeling from our stay

The friendly staff at reception when we arrived, the clean and well-furnished rooms, all made for an excellent visit to Vienna. Even the chocolate sweet on the pillow was a wonderful touch! The hotel is within easy reach of the museum quarter and there are plenty of shops to browse. Everything about the hotel is first rate for it's price. The only minor problem was the building construction work across the road from the hotel. However, when this is finished, I would find it hard for anyone not to enjoy their stay.

The people were carring. I stayed in different rooms (3), non-smokers room was the best one.
