We both want to stay at the hotel again, but will wait until the building/development is finsihed. We think it will be perfect then. Only there for 2 nights and didn't spend much time in the hotel. The room was good,but although the hotel provided a bottle of wine as compensation, the view of the harbour was ruined by the buidling works. This was a shame because it was meant to be a romantic weekend and the Sophie Amalie was specifically chosen because it was right on the harbour. The building works should have been mentioned and/or the room rate reduced.

The hotel itself is brilliantly postioned and of a solid standard. The staff were as helpful as they could be given the situation. Despite advertising "small double room" on your website, it was in fact a very small twin room, not a double at all. A twin is completely different from a double and your website was most misleading. The hotel was fully booked and we were unable to change room.
