We normally stay in the Hotel Stefanie and we had booked 4 days there but on trying to extend our stay by 2 days we found it was fully booked. It is an excellent 4* hotel and with beautiful restaurant,bar, reading rooms etc. It cost us 106 Euros per night including breakfast. It is near all amenities ad transport. Staff very pleasant and helplful. Hotel Mercure staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Hotel is well situated for many places of interest. However, it has no restaurant and bar empty. No ambience about the place. More disapointing was the additional price of breakfast 14 euros per person per day making the total B&B cost 127 euros per night for a hotel that was not on a par with the Stefanie. However, I would still recommend it as it was clean and staff friendly but it wouldn't be my first choice.

However I was asked to pay for breakfast. Due to the nature of my business I will be making more frequent visits to Vienna and make need to call upon you again, so value for money is something I will look for next time I book a hotel. Would have benefited from having tea making facility. The room was dark and could have benefited from brighter lighting
