First of all, this hotel is in a very convenient location - at the center of old town. plus, the subway stop is within reasonable walking distance. the food served at breakfast was good. the staff were helpful and our room was kept clean and neat.
... however, during our stay there was construction going on next door. . . . And they started way too early in the morning. so, we always woke up at about 6:30 every morning to the sounds of banging and hammering and heavy equipment buzzing. now 6:30 might not be too early for some but when you're on vacation and stay up late at night (or into the wee hours of the morning), the last thing you need is to be rudely woken up by construction sounds so early in the morning. one other minus for the hotel is the bathroom (at least for our room). the toilet was situated such that the end of it is right up against the wall. even for a person of my size, at 5'6", i barely had enough leg room when sitting on the toilet. that means that as you sit on it, your legs are slightly angled to the right or left and your face is right against the wall. it wasn't comfortable at all. you could sit sideways but that's not comfortable either.
