The hotel was an ideal budget hotel,it was clean, the towels were changed and the rooms cleaned everyday. It is situated near the Termini where you can get the Metro to explore Rome.Breakfast consists of a coffee and pastry of your choice and is served in the cafe bar at the corner of the street. There are many cafe bars and restaurants near the hotel that serve value for money tourist menus. If you are looking for luxury and all mod cons, this isn't the hotel for you but if you want a hotel that is clean and a bed to get a good nights sleep, and staff who are helpful with the basic tourist information then give it a go.I would definatley stay here again. Why waste money on posh hotels when all you need is somewhere clean to shower and sleep.

Great location! We loved being able to walk across the street to the terminal and take the bus, train or subway anywhere we wanted to go. We learned to get around in a very short time and had no problems with the transportation.
Everyone in the hotel and the city was very helpful and extremely courteous.
We also loved the fact that we could go out in the evening to shop and view the local shops, cafes and restaurants which were all so very close.

Value for money !!

We arrived at this small hotel late at night after a long flight and were made welcome by a staff member.

The room was spacious and clean; location very central
to railway and bus terminals but far enough away from the traffic and noise.

Ready access to well priced, good quality restaurants, street markets (fresh fruit and vegetables) and local shops selling quality cheese, bread and proscuitto etc.

Breakfast arrangement with fresh coffee and croissant provided by the local coffee bar worked efficiently; bar staff friendly and welcoming, coffee great and served with a range of croissants to suit all tastes.

We liked it so much we booked another couple of nights prior to leaving Italy to return home to Australia.

Although the dollar is very low and Rome is more expensive now, we were pleased with our stay at Hotel Soggiorno Blu.
There are no negatives to point out. The location was perfect for us since we needed to take the train and the link to the airport was ideal. Everything was within walking distance (food stores, various types of restaurants, edicole, taxi, tourist buses, etc). Everyone was pleasant; the room was made up each day, the ac worked and the staff was courteous, helpful and conversant in several languages. No complaints--when we return next year, we will most likely stay in the same area and most probably in the same hotel. Thanks to everyone there. Don Corbin
