All the information given on the website proved to be true, particularly the location. We were told that we were 5 minutes walk from Westbahnhof and this proved to be the case. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the room very pleasant (as the weather was hot, air-conditioning would have been a bonus). Breakfast, the only meal available, was of the buffet type and proved most comprehensive. We had a thoroughly good stay and I would have no hesitation in both recommending the hotel and in returning there for a further visit. I have in fact already emailed the management of the hotel to express my satisfaction. Vienna is a beautiful city and Hotel Stadthalle is conveniently situated for exploring its delights.

The room quite small, but well designed and cozy. The location is excellent if you need to use the train (a couple of blocks from Vienna's main train station) or if you need to visit the Stadhalle (a block away).

Quiet hotel in excellent position for trains, buses, trams and Stadthalle - no more than 5 mins walk. Handy and safe for getting back to hotel after Il Divo concert. The garden was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out there too much! We should have gone out sightseeing more. Loved the lavender on the roof and the hanging vines on the walls especially. My daughter would have liked a fridge but it didnt bother me.
