This made our stay a very pleasant expience. The breakfast catered for all our needs with a vast variety of breads, food hot and cold and fresh fruit. The dinner we had in the restaurant was superbly prepared and most enjoyable. We did send our compliments to the chef The hotel location was the main reason why we chose to stay there and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. The hotel, room & bathroom was spotlessly clean. We will always go back to the Splendido when we are in Milan and will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone that wants to visit Milan. Splendid Splendido! We cannot fault this hotel.

However, we could hear the tram every few minutes since we are near the tram station.

Did find that cost of internet use was too high. Less or free elsewhere.

The gang round the station did not disturb, although we got some prewarnings. Police was always oin sight. The window facing the street was not sound isolated from the noise in the night from the vehicles and the shouting inthe street. The voices were to be heard in the room. Othereise the room was very cosy and nice.

Piece of cake to get to hotel with rolling bags. The central termini and environs are a bit rough, but didn't bother us as the hotel interior, professional staff, cleanliness, well appointed rooms, strong AC (our visit mid-July) and other conveniences provided a nice buffer. Highly recommended for short stays if arriving by train.
