Very good location; Next to Bahnhof and Globus and other department stores and close to fashion stores. 5 min walking distance to altstadt and 10 min to lake. Noisy in the evening and at night time, but that might be specific to Euro 2008 fans passing by to and from Bahnhof. The lobby, restaurant etc is not great, actually dull, but the rooms have been refurbished with new furniture and are in very good condition. Room rates were sooo high but it is common during big football events.

The one problem I had was with the reservations. I made my reservation on the internet and was supposed to get a confirmation back but never did. I had to make several phone calls from another European country to make sure I did have a room reserved.

And, as the purpose of my visit was business at the Airport, it was not really convenient. The room was small and dark, and on the top floor with a dormer window facing a window in the building opposite
