Requested a room on the water and got one on the second floor- a beautiful view of the Mediterranean and great waking up to the sound of the water!

The matresses are not that good as well.

Hotels in the Barcelona area aren't cheap and in nor is Sitges in general, but this was very good value. We thought we had Room Only, but were given vouchers for breakfast every day. Staff were quite helpful and moved us from a twin room to a double as soon as one was available. Take your earplugs to block out traffic and other sounds(!) but otherwise this is a good place to stay. The double room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit small and there was a smell coming from the sink waste, so the plug had to be left in. This was obviously to do with the drains and might have been why they were digging up the road outside. There was a non-sound-proof door (locked, obviously) which connected with the next room, which meant that we were treated to loud conversations which we could have joined in with had we known the language and very noisy sexual frolics (sound only!). There was a mini bar in the room but no tea/coffe-making facilities, though the fridge came in handy.

Again however I think this is the last time I will stay in this hotel as each time none of my requests were catered for. I have stayed here a few times and my special requests were never catered for.
