If we did not use our earplugs we never would have slept. On an extremely busy street and metro stop, as well as bars and restaurants.

Very small room, good little balcony and a lot of noise from the street.

Upon checking out, the guy at the desk could not work the credit card machine. I offered to pay cash, but he barked at me and continued to try the credit card machine. Finally he barked again, "you pay cash!" I asked if it was possible to call a taxi - he said it would be a half hour. I asked if there was a faster way to get a taxi. He didn't even bother to answer. There was another guy behind the desk who overheard, made a call, and there was a taxi there within two minutes. It was a TERRIBLE experience. This was by far the worst hotel room I've ever encountered. It was not a double room with a large bed, it was a tiny room with two very small twin beds. No window except for an extremely dirty skylight. Very noisy room with some kind of recurring pneumatic noise every 3 to 7 seconds (I counted) ALL night long. I did not sleep a wink in this hotel room. It was HORRIBLE.

There are lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars within very easy walking distance. All in all, I'd give the location an A, and the hotel a C. Averages out to a B, I guess! The room was very dark -- the only window was a skylight covered with something filmy so it didn't even provide much light. The mini-bar fridge didn't work.

Ideal location for walking in the downtown area. We felt comfortable and safe. I would stay at Hotel Suizo again. In our bathroom you banged your knees on the tub when you sat on the toilet. We peaked in a few other rooms and this did not seem to be a problem throughout the hotel.
