Comment on Hotel :
My wife and two daughters spent 4 nights here at the Kreuz.
The location is excellent: practically in the old city and a very short walk to the train station.
The rooms are very clean, neat and ours was quite airy. They are not overly large, but big enough. Shower and bathroom facilities were excellent. Bedding was the single quilt, crisply white, Swiss style, which I love.
Our daughters room was on the 5th floor and supposedly non-smoking, but the room did have a distinct smoke aroma, which bothered their sleeping. We tried to switch rooms, but could not as they were full.
The front desk people spoke english easily and were very helpful in answering all our first-time-visitor questions.
The breakfasts were terrific. A buffet of ample selections, well prepared and well attended to.
A very very good experience.
