Torquay is easily reached by motorways from London, the Midlands and the North. By car the journey from London takes no longer than 3½ hours, with the Midlands a mere 2 hours away.
To get to The Palace Hotel Torquay, as you approach Torquay centre, turn right for Sea Front down Avenue Road, by Torre Station. Turn left along Sea Front to traffic lights by Torbay Hotel. Pass inner harbour on your right towards Clock Tower, passing Hoopers and Debenhams on your left. Turn left at the Clock Tower up Torwood Street leading to Babbacombe Road. Follow Babbacombe Road for approximately 1.25 miles. The hotel is a large green building located on your right.
