You arrive on the 7th floor to a bright room with an open terrace where the bar, restaurant and reception are all grouped together. The rooms are quiet despite being on a very busy street, the location is perfect for exploring and shopping. Dinner options around Savignyplatz are plentiful. We rented some of their day bikes and rode to the DDR museum, the Helmut Newton photography museum and through Tiergarten park. The bartender was alway cheerful and poured a generous glass!

If I had to pay the normal asking rate for the room I was in, I would not have been pleased, but it was acceptable given the discounted rate that I did pay. Berlin was experiencing very humid conditions during my stay and air-conditioning instead of a table fan would have been much appreciated.
