Comment on Hotel : My wife and I were visiting Manchester to pick up our daughter from the airport after her 12 months travelling the world. We needed a hotel that didn't break the bank, was handy for shopping at the Trafford Centre and near enough to pop along to the airport after breakfast ( I was pleased to see that the hotel was close enough to the city centre if we had the time to visit)
We did not want, nor expect a top class, expensive hotel with a pool and leisure facilities in a city centre location.
We wanted a comfortable, reasonably-priced good location hotel with breakfast and the Trafford Hall Hotel fitted the bill perfectly.
The room was large with good facilities although a little tired. The bathroom was OK, staff were very friendly and the bar was open for as liong as we needed it. Breakfast was full and sound and set us on our way for the day.
I would certainly recommend this hotel within this price range.
