It is a very old hotel that has been neglected in the maintaince department. Our bathroom had ants all over the towels. The shower tiles had wide cracks in them and was mildewed. The shower head would not stay in place when turned on. The tub is a 3 foot step up and over to get in or out. The carpets, wall coverings and bed spreads are worn out and frayed. The rooms have extremely poor lighting. The whole hotel needs a desperate update and emergency repairs on maintenance. If I had known there would be a survey, I would have taken photos of the bathroom, at least. The nice thing about the hotel was that they accommodated our early departure by setting out the buffet breakfast early and its close proximity to the airport.

However, the pots and pans were not properly clean and it could be useful to provide a washing up cloth and washing up liquid, so they can be clean for the next person. Sofa and TV were great.

More English-speaking TV channels would also be preferable, e.g. British news channels

A bus pass for 7 CF gets you all around town. Overall the hotel was OK. The carpeting in the hallways was pretty dirty(many visible stains). Room was in need of some new carpeting, paint, and fresh air. However, the bathroom was very clean and it was quite liveable. I am a student on a budget and this hotel worked out great.
