We could only stay two nights as we were touring Spain independently using a hire car and not a touring company. The location of the hotel suited us perfectly and we enjoyed the view from the front verandah while having drinks. We did initially have some concerns however when we were told that a HUGE wedding reception was to be held at the hotel on the first evening of our stay and we would not be able to have dinner at the hotel. We found it very difficult to get a car park on our return from dining out and this did cause us some concern as a carparking charge was to be on our account. The carparking was not charged as it turned out because so many wedding guests were using the carpark. The noise of children running up and down, squealing and laughing in the corridor during the reception was annoying and maybe this could be addressed by the hotel management when booking wedding receptions. We were not bothered by noise from the wedding reception because it was held in the garden and not outside our rooms. It was interesting to see how beautifully Spanish people dress for a wedding. The staff we dealt with were exceptional and made us feel very welcome.

The bathroom sink leaked and there was a cracked mirror in the room (406)- a pity as everything else was faultless. An iron would have been useful even for a leisure visitor - essential for a businessperson.
