We did request a non-smoking room but this was not possible. The room smelt strongly of smoke which is unpleasant if you are a non-smoker.

Ventilation ok at this time of the year, but what about summer time??

Birds had built nests on the balcony, which was fine but a bit messy. However, one of the chicks fell from its nest and we asked whether a gardener/worker could return it. Bird died and was still there when we checked out. Maybe it could have been saved, but certainly its body could have been moved after death.
