Need to use the entrance from another Tryp hotel nearby.

We arrived four hours earlier than the usual check-in time, but were immediately allocated a room. We were also able to arrange a late check-out time without any extra cost, thanks to Reuben Torres at the reception desk. He also "shopped around" to get us the cheapest taxi fare to Chinchon, about 50 kms away. Our room overlooked the Gran Via. Double glazing made it almost sound-proof, though sirens could be heard several times during the nights. Even when the street was almost deserted, the sirens would still be turned on by police etc.

It was very useful to be able to use the Hotel Memfis, located next door. The bed was too hard for me. But having a "Juliet Balcony" was certainly a plus!
