Although hotel receptionist called for a taxi to take me to the airport, the taxi driver cheated on me and wanted to take 11 Euro more for transport of luggage then he was supposed to take!!!!

the hotel is ideally located for travel purpose, well connected with the local transport. large size rooms are pretty good for single occupant.

though we were not given the one large bed we asked for, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Via Augusta. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay in Barcelona a pleasant one.

The receptionists were exceptionally helpful. I had two visits 21st and 28th august. rooms 600 and 601. room 600 was very large, 601 average. both rooms were rather noisy from the street noise of the Via Augusta.
