Overview
 The building where today one finds Villa Florentine Lyon was built in the 16th century on two lots of lands. Since 1707, the building accommodated La Maison de Providence belongs to religious Trinitarians, established by Louise-Blanche-Thérèse de BALLON. The kindness and good deeds of Les Jeunes Filles Convalescentes who became owners of the property in 1903, preserved the building until 1984.

Villa Florentine Lyon's 28 rooms are refinely decorated in delightful colours; period furniture and modern works are united in harmony. Each reveals a personalised charm; certain with a mezzanine, others a private terrace or cosy sitting area, marble or ceramic tiled bathrooms. All guestrooms provide modern comforts such as air conditioning, cable TV, bottled water, safes, minibars and complimentary Internet access.

Les Terrasses de Lyon, The Michelin-starred restaurant serves gourmet cuisine and guests can choose to dine in the grand old vaulted restaurant or step through an archway to a modern setting with glass walls for city views. During summer guests can dine alfresco on the terraced balcony. Children's menu available on request. Open for full breakfast, lunch and dinner; closed Sundays and Mondays.

In Villa Florentine Lyon, visitors can enjoy sublime Lyon views from the terraced outdoor pool and enjoy a pampering massage or beauty treatment. Fitness fans can work out in the fully equipped fitness centre and then let off some steam in the sauna and steam room.
