Villa Mar Azul faces Porto do Mos beach and is only 1.5 kilometres from two of the Algarve's prettiest beaches, Praia D.Ana and Praia do Camilo - the magnificent Ponta da Piedade headland and town centre.
How to reach Villa Mar Azul by car
From Faro Airport, Lisbon from A2 or IC1: Take the A22 towards Portimao/Lagos. After about 80 kilometres, take the last exit, signed Lagos/Vila do Bispo. Exit the A22 in the Lagos/Vila do Bispo exit. Follow straight on go around the first roundabout and at the second roundabout turn left heading towards Lagos. At the next roundabout, go straight on. Just beyond the next set of traffic lights there is a roundabout with a huge black ball in the centre - turn right. At the next, mini-roundabout (decorated with a floral sculpture), turn right and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometres, until it begins to go downhill. You should just be able to see the sea; the hotel is just around the next corner on your right.
