The stay was part of my fiftieth birthday celebrations. I mentioned this on booking and the Hotel had a lovely surprise for me. There was a bottle of wine, hand made sweets and a bowl of fruit. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend staying here.

As my husband is from Scotland we decided to stay for three days. We booked over the internet which can be dicey sometimes. Your hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us. As we had an early morning arrival and the drive from Glasgow Airport we arrived tired and before book in time but were welcomed. We are seniors and when the head housekeeper realized that we would have to carry heavy suitcases upstairs she immediately changed the room. I feel as if I am "gushing" but we really did enjoy our stay and would not hesitate to recommend your hotel and if we make it to Ayr again will definetly stay with you. P.S. The weather co-operated as well as we had three beautiful days. Thank you.

LEAVING DAILY AT APPROX 10.30AM , RETURNING IN THE LATE AFTERNOON EVENING, WE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THE TABLES & BATHROOM TO HAVE BEEN CLEANED / WIPED & RUBBISH REMOVED FROM OUR ROOM ON A DAILY BASIS. THERE WERE TWO DAYS WHEN THIS DID NOT HAPPEN.THAT IS MY ONLY CRITISISM. WE WERE ON HOLIDAY,& WE DID NOT COMPLAIN AS WE DIDNT SPEND A LOT OF TIME INSIDE. THE ROOM.I'M SURE IF WE HAD COMPLAINED THE PROBLEM WOULD HAVE BEEN DEALT WITH PROMPTLY. THE FOOD & SERVICE FROM THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT.THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THE HOTEL WAS IN A GOOD POSITION FOR US TO EXPLORE THE AYR REGION,BY CAR BUT, FOR WALKING DOWN TO THE TOWN OR BEACH AREA, IT WASNT CENTRAL ENOUGH AS WE HAD TO WALK THROUGH A LARGE AREA OF HOUSING TENAMENT BLOCKS, TO GET THERE.IF WE HAD KNOWN THAT, WE WOULD HAVE CHOSEN A DIFFERENT AREA TO STAY AS WE WERE MAINLY WALKING. AYR ITSELF & SURROUNDING AREAS IS VERY BEAUTIFUL & WORTHWHILE VISITING, WITH LOT'S OF INTERESTING THINGS TO SEE

When checking in we were informed that we were being upgraded to the main hotel. My wife and I were delighted with this.
